Adamjee Government Science College

Adamjee Government Science College (Adamjee Science College) is an educational institution in Karachi, Pakistan. It was established by the Adamjee Group. It is located in the heart of the city, near the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah(the father of Pakistan), in the area of Garden East (Jamshed Town) on Business Recorder Road, Karachi.

The college is famous in academic circles being the best HSC college for boys in Pakistan. The college attains great results in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examinations, with its students attaining top positions in the examinations held under the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi.



Chenab College

Chenab College Ahmedpur Sial is an intermediate college working under Chenab College. It is located in Ahmedpur Sial which is a tehsil of Jhang District.

Chenab College Chiniot is a college campus located on the bypass of Chiniot, in Chiniot District, Pakistan. It is working under theChenab College, located on Chiniot road 12 km from Jhang.

Chenab College Shorkot is an intermediate college working under the group of Chenab College.

Chenab College in Jhang, Pakistan was established in 1991 which provides education and discipline. The college is situated 12 kilometers from the city. The total area of college is 148 acres (0.60 km2).


D. J. Science College

D. J. Science College (Diwan Dayaram Jethamal Science College) is an educational institute located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Inaugurated as Sindh Arts College by Lord Reay, Governor of Bombay, on January 17, 1882, the college was renamed D. J. Science College upon completion of the present structure in 1887. Located in the heart of old Karachi, the foundation stone for this college was laid in 1882, by Lord Dufferin, Viceroy of India. The college is named after Diwan Dayaram Jethmal, its main benefactor.


Defence Authority Degree College

The Defence Authority Degree College   also known as DADC, is a degree college located at in D.H.A., Karachi, Sindh,Pakistan. 

DHA Degree College started functionin in the then SKBZ High School building in September 1988. The college was shifted to its present campus on September 3, 1990. 

Lke other educational institutions of the Defence Housing Authority, the college runs under the DHA Administrator who is a serving Brigadier of the Pakistan Army. Commander 5 Corps Karachi is the President of the Executive Board of the Authority and all the educational institutions of DHA function under his guidance . The college is affiliated to the University of Karachi for Graduation and Post Graduation Programmes, and to the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, for Intermediate programmes.

Faran Model College (Urdu: فاران ماڈل کالج) is one of the intermediate colleges in Pakistan. It is located on Gojra road near Khokha Chowk in Jhang District. It has more than 2500 students and alumni of Faran College are called Faranians.


Government College for Men Nazimabad

Government College for Men, Nazimabad is an all-male degree college located in Karachi, Pakistan adjacent to the flyover located in Nazimabad town. The college was established in 1956 under the name of Central Government College for Men to provide higher education to the newly settled and prominent area of Nazimabad in Karachi. The college was taken over by the Government of Sindh in 1961, and since then named as Government College for Men, Nazimabad.


Islamia Science College (Karachi)

Islamia Science College (Urdu: اسلامیہ سائنس کالج ) is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is one of the largest colleges in Pakistan. The college provides faculties of Science, Law, Commerce and Arts. It is located just opposite Dawood College of Engineering and Technology. Islamia Science College, Islamia Law College, Islamia Commerce and Arts College are in one complex which was founded by Quaid-e-Taleem Late Abdul Rehman Muhammad Qureshi. The college was inaugrated by Field Marshal Ayub Khan in August, 1961.



Government National College (Karachi)

Government National College, Karachi was founded by a group of dedicated  teachers and city philanthropists as “National College” in 1956 under the umbrella of the National Educational Society, established in 1954. The society consisted of Mr. Saudagar Darwesh (president), Professor Hasan Adil (secretary), Professor Hasnain Kazmi, Mr. Asghar Hussain (advocate), Mr. M. M. Malik and Mr. Shamsuz Zaman (advocate). The college was headed by Professor Hasan Adil from March 1956 through September 1972. It was nationalized on September 1, 1972. The college operated under a double-shift programme until 1993, when the evening shift of the college was granted the status of a separate and independent college by the Provincial Government.


Pakistan Shipowners’ College

Pakistan Shipowners’ College, established in 1969, is a teaching institution in Karachi. It has a purpose-built building located in Block R and S, North Nazimabad, Shahrah e Noorjahan spread over 12 acres (49,000 m2) of land. The building is surrounded with lawns, playgrounds and sport fields.

It was founded by the private management but when the educational institutions were nationalized in 1972, this college was also nationalized. Later it was promoted to Degree College in 1975.


Ghazali Inter College

Ghazali Inter College is a High school and an Intermediate college located on the Bhawana-Painsra road in Bhawana, Pakistan.  It was established in 2002. It is located on the coordinates 31.56114 in North and 72.64143 in East.


Government College of Science, Lahore

The Government College of Science Wahdat Road (GCS) in Lahore, Pakistan is located along the Wahdat Road in the locality ofAllama Iqbal Town (hence its name). The college was founded on 8 August 1973; M. A. Saeed was its first principal.


Islamia College (Lahore)

Islamia College (Urdu: اسلامیہ کالج ) is a group of three colleges in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan affiliated with the University of Punjab. They were nationalised by Z. A. Bhutto in the 1970s. After GC University and FCC University, it is regarded as the third best college as far as the merit of F.Sc and F.A is concerned.


Din College

Din College is a private college for girls in Chiniot, Pakistan. It was inaugurated by former Governor of Punjab Lieutenant General (R) Khalid Maqbool in September 2004. It is running by the Din Group.


Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics

Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics is situated at Stadium Road in Gulshan-e-Iqbal in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

The RLAK Government College was founded by Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan wife of first Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawab Liaquat Ali Khan.


Sir Syed Government Girls College

Sir Syed Government Girls College is considered as one of the most premier educational institutions for girls in Karachi. The school was founded by Syed Altaf Ali Barelvi  in 1954 solely to provide higher education to girls. The college has been named as Sir Syed Girls College after the leader Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. The present building of the college was completed in 1963. On September 1972, the college was nationalised and since then named as Sir Syed Government Girls College.


Aligarh Institute of Technology

The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), established in 1989, is located on a portion of Plot ST-16, measuring 1.2 acres (4,900 m2), on the University Road, opposite Aziz Bhatti Park in Block 5, Gulshan-e-lqbal, Karachi, [Pakistan].

It is planned to be a big Polytechnic institute for boys and girls to provide, in phases, theoretical and practical courses of instructions in a number of technologies leading to theDiploma of Associate Engineers (DAE) of Sindh Board of Technical Education.


Bahria College, Karachi

Bahria College Karachi (BCK) (also known as Bahria College NORE 1) is a college in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The college offers single education until Inter, except for the Cambridge Wing, which provides Co-education.

The Bahria Colleges were founded by the Pakistan Navy. The Bahria College is one of the well known schools of karachi and Islamabad. It is located on the M.T. Khan Road, inside the Military Semi-Cantonment. area N.O.R.E. 1,in Karachi,Sindh,Pakistan.

Army Public College of Management Sciences

The Army Public College of Management and Science, is an Pakistan Army affiliated college in Rawalpindi, Punjab. It was founded in 1999 under the administrative control of the Pakistan Army. It is located at the Khadim Hussain Rd., Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The principal is retired army officer Brig.(R) Habdar Madni.
